just saw a showreel of the strummerville bandstand from 2007. how cool, The Beat...Emmy the Great..Dirty pretty things....amazing. Neil, if you read this, do you of know the guys that run this to see any idea of line up nearer the time, or is all pretty impromptu. i walked past it many times but like all the smaller stages its kinda hard to know whose on at one times which i guess is the appeal of the larger stages. would like to see some bands there this year if it is still there - maybe it could be bigger to take over from leftfield from some small degree

Strummerville had a stage called the Bandstand in 2007 as mentioned previously, I think it was in Lost Vagueness (2008 was my first Glastonbury). Last year they didn't have a stage, they had the Saturday night line up in the Pub in Shangri La.

I saw the Holloways and Kid Harpoon there plus various other guests. Absolutely amazing they were. Only around 100 people there.

As well as the stage, Strummerville have a campfire running all the time, near the rock in memory of Joe in Shangri La. I don't know what is happening this year as I have heard the Pub will not be there. Nothing as yet on the Strummerville website.

Any information anyone??, Mr Bizarre is usually up to speed with Shangri La area.
