Hi Faith,

Come and be enticed by the lovely ....

/index.php?showtopic=111372">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.p...howtopic=111372

It's the perfect place for go-alones (and non-go-alones too). It was my first go-alone year last year and I camped there and they're all lovely, so I'm going alone and joining them again this year. Have a read through the thread and you'll see you're certainly not going alone at all.

:P

Going alone is fine, although I have a crowd coming with me this year. To be honest, once I'm there though, apart from occasional arranged meet-ups, I just do my own thing anyway, I've always got my own set of musical priorities which are never going to exactly match my friends.. :P

I chose to go alone last year (instead of staying with people I knew in the campervan field) and I camped with the efests people at Camp Trinagle in Pennards. A fantastic group of people and you will make loads of new friends. I'm doing it again this year, although I may have a couple of Glasto Virgins with me.

Travel on your own and meet new friends there, you won't regret it!

I went on my own in 2003, and probably had my most enjoyable Glasto of all the times I've been. Met so many nice people and your eyes are open a little wider when you're on your own - you see so much more of the festival. And if you don't fancy camping on your own there is always a couple of groups of eFesters in various parts of the site to join up with. Enjoy!

Hi faith2009, I go to Glasto with a couple of mates who have different taste's in music to me so I clear off and do my own thing every year. Just get yourself out there and you'll meet some amazing people. <_<

Hey Faith and everyone :-D Was great to read all your posts! I'm now going alone to Glasto, haven't done a festival in a while and certainly not by myself b4 so def a bit nervous bout it. Are there any other girls out there that are going it alone? I'm 24, F and think my first stop will be by the sounds of it. Can anybody turn up there or do you have to be on a list of some sorts? Any info much appreciated...Can't wait!!!

You can just turn up or you can put your name down on a list. Last year there was a mobile number swop beforehand so if you wanted you could call one of the people who arrived at the opening of the gates (there will be plenty of us!) and tell us where you are. One of us can then come and meet you and take you to the camp, this may make it a little less daunting!. If you have been before, is in Pennards. You most certainly won't be the only lone female at , there were plenty of us last year!

Hi,

I'm also going alone, and was wondering if the mobile number swap thing had happened. Would be really nice to camp with all of you, and as a glasto newbie have someone show me where I'm going! lol.

Anywho, I hope everyones excited!

NKP
