early entry

theres afew comments scattered around but i cant find anything that clears up whats going on with early entry tickets, anyone care to enlighten me? x

i've only seen em sold with bus travel tickets, im confused to, whats the official word?

the official website says;

"Early bird tickets have completely sold out. Any bought in the presale in September 2008 remain valid."

doesnt specifically mention selling them with coach packages though.

last two years i've been i've just paid the money on the door to the stewards to get in on the wednesday, is this no longer an option now they've repackaged the early bird ticket?

my guess is that this is still possible to do, but thought i'd ask if anyone has heard otherwise since i'm merely assuming this will still be the case..xx
