I think the issue isn't whether they are DJs or not, rather it's whether we will know them. In exploring the undercard I've found quite a lot of stuff I quite like but lots of people aren't invested in Sziget the way we all are.
So, if you just fancy a visit to a festival in Europe this year, will you take the time to explore the undercard of each one or will you just chose the festival whose line up has the most names you recognise? I suspect, for a lot of people, it'll be the latter.
Really liking the new Squid album! Still as interesting, experimental and unusual as always. Like the krautrocky sound and the new orchestral tinge that the album's adopted. They're becoming a post-punk staple now of the 2020s, yet to do a bad album. Will definitely be listening to this one for a while
The reaction on social media for Drake though is pretty wild.
I personally can't see the appeal of having the same headliner 3 nights in a row. However, I guess it increases chances of people getting tickets for one day, who want to go.
And yet, on the dark day when the Bloodvessel obituaries are finally published, its a reasonable bet that Fatty Towers will nevertheless still take up more column inches than a Bad Manners set on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage.
