kookye
I've never understood the reason for buying a ticket if you don't like the lineup really...

kirsty_pen21
OK...fair point made by both of you. However, the fact that we've forked out £160+ for a ticket (plus the additional costs of travel, programme, food, beer, camping stuff etc) during a recession means we have a right to express a bit of dissatisfaction with the organisers over a lazy, 'copied from 2007 & 2006' bill and the fact that we've still not had a second announcement! We've actually got one band less definately playing now than when the initial announcement was made. I think they've become complacent over the years now it sells out straight away. I remember going in the early years when you could roll up on the day and buy a ticket. At that point, they had to make a real effort with the bill or V would have folded as people would have opted to buy Reading tickets etc. Christ...I remember seeing James Brown on the Channel 4! That was a booking that wouldn't have come cheap and one that you wouldn't have expected but it showed that somebody was actually putting some thought into who they were booking rather than sitting down with blindfold, a pin and a copy of the top 10 singles chart!
