Join Millets' Walk to Worthy Farm for WaterAid

To mark World Water Day, outdoors retailer Millets is hoping to raise £25,000 for WaterAid by organising a walk from Cheddar Gorge to Worthy Farm, on Sunday 10th May 2009. The 11.75 mile walk will pass some stunning scenery before ending at Worthy Farm, where you'll be met by Micheal Eavis and watch a performance from The Travelling Band, co-winners of The Emerging Talent Competition in 2008. If you're interested, you need to register at millets.co.uk/glastonbury2009/thewalk by 19th April, then start getting sponsorship to help WaterAid's work providing water, sanitation and hygiene education to some of the world's poorest people.

me and bf planning to make the trip to do this - just need to be sure he can get the day off work on the sunday. Should be good though. Will also be a good test run for our camper.

Sadly I really dont think I could travel all the way down to do it. Too expensive for me. :angry:

I live in Bristol but am in London that weekend. The Travelling Band are playing at the end too - though not sure I could just turn up for that bit!

We have just signed up for this today. We plan to take photos along the way, and more importantly, some of the set up for glasto, as I am sure it will be in full flow on May 10th. I'll post them on here once back and recovered.
