rockness munching

ok so they dont let you take gas canisters into rockness so no wee camping stoves. every festival i go to this happens. must be a more recent thing. anyway i know you def dopnt get them in rockness. i found the vans to be way to expensive tho. has anyone got any fail proof food ideas or ways of cooking food ect ect... id love any ideas.

Get yourself a trangia stove, it runs on meths and packs down really small, can cook whatever u like on one of those bad boys. I take it to every festival and never had a problem yet

well last year i had a small camping stove that my parents use on holiday. they let me kep the actuall stove but took the gas canisters saying i could start a fire or it be used as a bomb. this was at rockness in 08. it was so frustrating. everything we took was relying on this. so im not gonna risk it this year. huge waste of money

ahhhh the "i love sausage" stall they were bill (also at giving out free samples) they let me try the pork and buckfast sausage, was tasty but couldnt taste any buckfast so think it was just a pork sausage!

as living off crisps just make sure u dont bust them in your bag, its a bugger to find crumbs all over your bag.

there's nothing on the website saying no stoves. We never had any hassle last year with our stove, and loads of people about us had them too. I'll be taking it this year too.

Last year at T i cooked an egg using a big mother of a spoon and a zippo.

was watching th gadget show last night, they had that bad boy , looks dynamite. I always ending wanting to do a spot of baking at fasties .

had intended to bring a stove aswell, as i'm coeliac, meaning most of the stalls will be poisonous to me!!!

anyone any ideas on where to get official clarification on this point? nothing about them on the website? if i can't cook for myself it'll be a weekend of chips chips & chips! i'd really prefer the drink etc to be a reason i end up sick rather than eating something i shouldn't!! if you had a spare gas canister packed where it mite be overlooked would this do the job do u reckon?? go raimh maith agat x

Last year from friday to monday all i ate was half a cheese sandwich and a cheeseburger! Just couldnt eat!

Just make loads of pasta with a sauce and cold meat. Put it in tupperware boxes, sorted! It Carbs so full of energy + you can squash lots of it into a small container!
