ivan
My mate has his own engineering co. Few years back he spent the winter building his own for V festival's. Then threw it onto the back of his pick-upcome festival time. Brilliant design and construction job , a true labour of love ! British engineering at its best ! barbienightmare
nah, too prone to tipping over. what you need is a B&Q sack truck. loads of people on here have them because they're sturdy, have pneumatic tyres, and are pretty cheap. http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?acti...p;isSearch=true Edited April 7, 2009 by barbienightmare
crimsonking
I take it you dont do the weekly supermarket shop much ....... firstly as there £1 until you bring it back and secondly, you try finding one without the rubbish wheels with a mind of there own but if you were looking to ' borrowing ' one from a store, then why not instead try a luggage trolley (one with the flags sticking up ) from Waterloo station or somewhere similar, or even the square big old trolleys they use when there stacking the shelves at tescos Edited April 7, 2009 by crimsonking
mouth
theres a massive thread on trolley pros and cons from last year /index.php?showtopic=89926&hl=trolley">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.p...&hl=trolley
barbienightmare
Somerfields do a really good big bucket affair on wheels, a quid! I think most people can afford that, then just pimp the wheels for off-road and your away. However it is best to get one legally and hoestly from ebay or amazon

Staberinde
Yeah, I put some shelves on there, only as a quick fix the day before the fest last year. A large piece of plywood on the bottom, held in place with two cable ties at the back. This provides a large shelf that I put all my beer, cider, wine, water etc. on. Then I built a second shelf that stood off from the bottom as the base for all my holdalls that I stack on. The second shelf is to take the load of my gear, don't want all that weight on the beer! It doesn't look terribly attractive, as it's purely functional. Not sure I took any photos though, but I will check! BTW I got the thick plywood from B&Q offcuts bin for like 20p! MissB
Anyone got this?: http://www.mowermagic.co.uk/acatalog/Trolley_Carts.html Is it good and does it fit into any car that isn't a 4 wheel drive?!
Marathon_Man
that is by far my trolley of choice too - saw people using them last year so effortlessly. £99 though - ouch! not sure if it would fit in my Fiesta either
