richybear
Mine was sitting in this tent selling tea and cake in the greenfields, at this time all the headliners were on singing away while in the greenfields it was nice and peacefull with fireworks going off in the background, then we heard this music coming from somewhere so we investigated and found this tent around the back of the tea room, we walked in and there was a band playing with about 20 people dancing around them. Fantastic night

BIG question @ Glasto
Only Glasto eh. Mine was this moment. Totally magical. A Lantern stall on the Green fields and every lantern had a lit candle. Me and the hubby just stood for ages staring at it. Beautiful. Magic Bus
Watching the chinese lanterns flying up over the stone circle, and listening to the Glasto cheer waves - eating cheese & biscuits & drinking red wine - Wednesday evening......... Crouchie
after the big storm and the mud and the trudging.. Brian Wilson in glorious sun shine and people crowd surfing down the crowd on surf boards! and Gogol Bordello in the pissing down rain.. the rain was that bad that you just had to laugh and get soaked and carry on dancing! hazey_jane
Beautiful picture Funk Farley. I've trotted this one out several times but that won't stop me doing it again. Saturday night, 2005, my feet were absolutely killing me from dragging them out of the mud. I'd wandered over to the dance field to catch Dreadzone but couldn't be arsed waiting half an hour for them to start so I was wandering over back to our tent via the circus fields before heading to bed before midnight I heard 'I Fought The Law (And The Law Won)' drifting over the fields and found a psychobilly band called The Highliners playing on the Sensation Seekers Stage and ended up dancing like a lunatic with about 50 other people. We were doing the conga around the field to get it all flat for the next day and they were just so brilliant. Better than moany old Coldplay. They were so good I skipped Tori Amos who was headlining the Acoustic Tent to catch them again and there were about half a dozen people who'd also been there on the Saturday night too. Later on that night, at about 2am on what is now Monday morning, my mate and I were dancing outside the 50s diner in Lost Vagueness when I saw the singer and guitarist walk past and they kindly stopped for a photo and were generally very lovely. Please go and see them if they play Glastonbury this year, they are a fabulous band.

mikeb
Best memory ... no contest here: Getting my first ever glimpse of the site from the top deck of the bus from Castle Cary. No amount of research or even several months of almost living on here beforehand in any way prepared me for just how big it actually is in reality and how impressive it looks ! Still get a top deck LHS window seat every year even now and have even been known not to get on the first available bus because it was a single decker but wait just that l'il bit longer at Castle Cary for the next one as it was a double decker That stupidly excited feeling from seeing the site for the first time every year is always worth the wait ! LostRiot
The birds nest in the green fields last year were most awesome.
