Leonard Cohen to return to the UK/Europe this summer.

Highly doubtful, why would Eavis book him again when he was there last year on the Pyramid Stage. He was exceptionally good and I would be happy to see him again, but an act as legendary as Cohen isn't likely to be booked for consecutive years whic. I think is a good thing. That is left to the smaller bands/artists such as Duffy :)

if she does she likes the oldies but hey she's not a teeny bop :-)

if cohen can do the fest again the jazz world stage would be good but otoh the interest in cohen this time around would be quite major, so that area would he heavily packed out.

I don't want him to come back.

Last year was so perfect, such a great moment, and for me having been brought up on him by my dad it was a real moment.

While I'm sure he would be brilliant again, a legend like Cohen shouldn't become a banker of an act, he should stand out as a once in a lifetime event.

Yeah, I've got to agree with the people who say it's a one off, and if you missed it, you missed it. That's part of what makes going to a gig, or a festival special, it's not going to be the same every time. There are things, acts, bands I missed, either because I was too young, or not even born, or doing something else or whatever, but that makes the acts I have seen even more special. I don't like the idea of bands reforming, I don't like the idea that I have to see legendary bands that are n some sort of list or something like that. I don't like bands playing their best known album. Music should be spontaneous, unique, and constantly surprising (and sometimes shit). Like life itself, No lows = No highs.

Having just tried to match the gaps in his tour dates to any festivals going, I don't think it's all that likely that we'll see him playing any proper UK festivals this summer.

I think the most likely scenario is that he does one or more of the "special" concerts - Somerset House, Eden Project, Forests, etc.
