FANCY DRESS!

Last year I was relaxing in the Park on the Sat afternoon when I was besieged by what can only be described as a flock of where's Wally's. There must have been about 20 of them all in the stripy red and white tops with the national health glasses. It was fantastic

i've been working so hard on my fancy dress..

not sure how to describe it.. probably some kind of f**ked up doll.

my skirt is about 5 ft wide and i have a massive pink wig which i've sewn wee birds into

i'm BUSTING to wear it.. keep putting it on in the house, had to answer the door to the postman in it the other day.. the look on his face was priceless :D

No fancy dress as such, but I got a ska t-shirt, mod shades, pork pie and toy sax that blows bubbles for Madness / Specials.

Currently conversing with gay friends on what to wear for the gay meet, something fun and camp, without hiding my hetrosexuality

Oh and I've got an old outfit just in case the nude meet comes off :D

How have you made the paneers for your 5ft wide skirt?

I go to Venice Carnevale in 18th century costumes with a group of 3 others inc 2 girls, and the first year we went they struggled with the wire paneers, some of the wires came out and badly scratched them.

This is us in Venice in Feb.

Unfortunately the costume is too nice to wear to Glasto, else it would be amazing.

Decided that, rather than buying stuff from Oxfam, I'll re-use an old costume and go as an Elf.

Not sure whether Friday or Saturday is best day for the costume.

I'm going for the whole Moulin Rouge look and am planning to dress my friend in drag, may go down well in Trash City.

I was tempted to go as Old Gregg though from The Mighty Boosh, it's just the 'Seaweed' which would be a bit much at a festival.
