Glastonbury Alone

Just found out the mates I was meant to be going with to Glastonbury have not got tickets. I thought about giving up my ticket but have decided to go anyway.

Any advice on surviving alone would be appreciated. During the day will likely be doing my own thing, but in the evenings would like to meet some chilled out people for a drink/ chat. Where's the best place to camp for someone in my situation?

Will be traveling down from Bristol on wednesday afternoon, probably by coach. Anyone else going from Bristol then and fancy meeting to set up camp together?

like pehaw said, also plenty of people go it alone and it gives you a great deal of freedom but people always meet up round the fire of an evening, you won't be short of chatting buddies

Like the other 2 said, e fest camping all the way. Dont worry about not knowing anyone either - I did my first e fest camp at a festival last year (followed quickly by 2 more after it) and going on my own and e fest camping is the only way to do a festival for me now

Well this year I did the not caring what friends were doing, and it has turned out that none of them got tickets. So me on my tod this year. Being around the festival on your own is brilliant but can get lonely, so I'd recommend an eFests camp as well. Looks like it will be where I am this year

DEFINITELY go. I was practically alone last year and although I didnt really meet many people but everyone was still friendly and I generally had an amazing time. I drank loads of cider and saw some amazing bands.
