I have a feeling Gossip will be playing

....they will be in Europe that weekend, in France for the 28th but nothing planned on the 26th & 27th. Their new album is produced by Rick Rubin. I remember from last year there is a lot of Gossip haters on this board, and while I accept they were pretty shite last year, they were for me one of the '07 highlights, they were amazing headlining JP stage.

Hopefully the new album will be really strong, and with Rubin on board I reckon it should be.

i have never heard more than one song from that band, sure she's a good singer but it seems thay've been riding that one hit for about 2 years now.

They're a terriffic band but I wasn't impressed last year. They seemed a long way off form. Also Beth Ditto seemed really offended when everyone laughed when she burped. She was talking about someone from the Long Blondes (i think) being ill and seemed to think we were laughing at that.

Or did I dream all that?

She's horrific. I wonder how long they're going to keep getting bookings on the back of one good song. They've already riden it about a year longer than they dseserved.

Saw gossip last year, cant really remember seein them, i just know i did coz of my photos........anywhoo, not sure if they were up to much tho coz im sure i wasnt that drunk , and im sure i would remember a bit more if they were good?

I was massively surprised they got an NME tent headline slot at Reading this year. Saw a bit of them last year but didn't really do it for me. If they did play I'd guess they'd be relatively high on the Other Stage.

They remind me of a pony I once had. Could never get him to learn that second trick no matter how hard I tried. Really nailed the first one though but it still got a little tiring after a while.
