alcohol & coaches

I was just pondering over what alcohol to take with me. And thinking along the lines of a 3L box of wine and 1L of vodka (in a plastic bottle of course!) but im traveling on the coach from edinburgh..

1) are they going to have some sort of *no alcohol* rule?

2) realistically is this alot to carry with a 3 man tent, sleeping bag and large rucksack? (im quite a weakling when it comes to carrying thing)

ive not investigated this. im not to bothered though, ill only need the toilet about twenty times if i do drink on the bus.

think youre allowed two suitcase sized luggage. if that makes sense.

how much did you pay for the bus and when you going? im getting edinburgh down to london megabus, and then london to glasto coach. works out at £62 return for the two

you will be able to take booze on the coach but to drink it on the coach is illegal.

Not planning on drinking on the bus, just wondered if they let you on with booze, im sure it will be fine though, thanks!

thats well cheap! there is two of us going and we getting the bus on wednesday morning from here at 6.45am and it gets us to glastonbury at 6.30pm (includes a 50 min stop in birmingham) then leave on the monday at 8.40am to get back at 8.10pm (with no stops.. yay!) and that cost us £91 each! but just seemed to be the easiest option
