Also can someone define where exactly they are on a map cheers..

I am assuming its Gate C for the quickest route in?

on this map dragon field is at U10, i think williams is the one below/right or that on the map. so yeah, gate C would be your best route in.

They're the 2 public camping fields at the South Eastern corner of the site, sandwiched between Shangri La and the Stone Circle.

Dragon is the long thin one, Williams is the squareish one.

Doubt there's much to choose between Gates C and D to be honest. Gate C is closer to Dragon/Williams, but along less stable paths. Gate C also tends to be much further from the Car Parks.

I agree. I've tended to use PGC, as it's the direction I come from. I also wondered about this year, the closest field to PGD is now marked as Campervans & Caravans, that potentially might make the west carparks a little further as well.

Worth pointing out that Gate D is no longer where it is shown on that map and is now much further west in the corner of Paines Ground/Dairy Ground

I know that Lost Vagueness hijacked a large part of the field in 2007, but I'm pretty sure that all (or at least the vast bulk) of it was public in 2008?

We have always entered by PGD for Williams as its an easier walk along the old railway line with a trolley! There was loads of room left mid afternoon last year on the Wednesday, but very full by Thursday morning. If you can get against the top fence as its a bit flatter there!

How soon do these two camping fields fill up? I'll be arriving at about 1pm on Weds and was hoping to get a place to camp in either Dragon or Williams.
