God I hope not. Can't start the band, especially the frontman. One of the most annoying voices in music, and he's not even singing good lyrics most of them are appalling I'VE SEEN HER NAKED, TWICE! for example. I'm hoping the big gap in their tour is down to a lack of demand rather than a festival detour.

Eddie Argos is one of the best frontmen in world music. He doesn't have a "singing voice" but it works for what Art Brut do. Seeing them live he has me in stitches.

You either get his lyrics or you don't - it's no biggie, it's just opinion. Wishing unemployment on someone is pretty mean just because you don't like their music. I mean, I'm not a fan of the food from Nandos, so I don't go there. I don't walk past their shop going "God I hope they go out of business"

By unemployed I mean loses his record contract and no longer gets gigs. If he gets a job in the services industry after that I wish him all the luck in the world and a long life of working and tax paying.

Yeah I find them too heavy. You're right of course I don't get it and it's just a matter of taste.

I've done a few fuzz nights for sandman. Skint and Demoralised, 65 days of static (ouch my chest still hurts), Art Brut and also did Dan Le sac vs scroobious pip last year. Am on for Young Knives and Dinosaur pileup in the next couple of months. Fantastic lights down there.

Oh yeah did Golden Silvers too, though I left early as I thought they were all about to fall asleep, that was a flat one.
