Buying Booze at Heathrow airport

Hi All

Does anyone know if there's an off licence in or very near to London Heathrow airport ?

I'm flying in from Glasgow prior to getting a National bus direct to the festival site from the airport and was wondering if there's anyway of avoiding carrying my slab of beer onto the plane, ideally there'd be an offie(not duty free) in the airport

...

Thanks in advance.

If you could do it a better bet would be to get the underground to victoria, the coach park is just round the corner there are plenty of offy's round there, but if you are set in stone to go from heathrow it's gonna cost you to buy tinnies

You could hop on Heathrow Connect train to Hayes & Harlington (about a 5 minute journey), or a bus to West Drayton (takes 10 minutes-ish). Plenty of off-licences, supermarkets etc available round there.

Would cost you a couple of quid for a bus / train ticket, and a bit of time, but if you're dead set on picking up some booze at a reasonable price, it might be the best way. I'm not sure if there's anything closer that's as easily accessible.

There's an M&S Simply Food in the Arrivals hall at Terminal Five (if you're coming on BA).

If you're coming in to Terminal One (bmi), forget it. There's nothing.

If you get the tube one stop to Hatton Cross, there's a Tesco in Feltham Dukes Green, about 0.5 mile walk from the tube. You'll be walking way more than 1 mile over the course of the weekend, so enjoy! Cross over the main road (A30) into Faggs Road and if you stay on Faggs Road it becomes the A312. Tesco is just there.
