Well said and Happy Birthday for yesterday. I only started my festival "career" last year and really only go to see the major headline acts, as it would be too expensive to see them at individual gigs.

I also get the impression from some posters that think we're "not real festival goers" because we are not teenagers into the latest groovy bands and singers. Well, we are real and we are going.

Never been to V And I can see what the first post was about 'not a proper fest' I always look at it like T4 on the beach they are very pop. But the the IOW is extremly pop and its not a festival in my opinion.

This is proberly the most intresting thread I have seen on the forums in a while where the subject in hand actually stays to the tittle. Im only a kid realy (16) and started giging and going festies since about 14. This year is my first Reading and going on the forums they are not happy about the 'indie' line up. So when people on this forum are saying its not a proper festival are in some sense right because I think a fest should be at least indie-rock but V and IOW are to pop this year.

Ive been to about 8 gigs in about 18 months been to 3 fests and going to 2 this year.
