mineapolis
Ok, no reflex cameras but, what about a camcorder? Like this one... They are allowed?
JoeBananass
sure, but its a bit of a hassle carry something like that around all the time. I just use a compact camera as the movie quality is fine for Glasto, and its not a big deal to carry it round with you.

Toilet Duck
Yeah. It's just to know, simply curiosity... I wish I had one
mineapolis
I've seen tons of people with SLRs taking photos (and just regular punters, not press)...I've never seen anyone having any kind of camera taken off them....I'd be more worried about losing it when I was drunk, or having it nicked out of my tent (though if you were organised you could take pictures/shoot film in the daytime, soberly, and then bang it in the lockup and get plastered! )

grumpyhack
I only take things I don't mind losing so take throwaway disposible cameras. Rubbish quality but they slip into the pocket and are OK to take snaps of mates. Most photo processing shops will process and covert to digital as well quite cheaply if you want. It's a brave person that takes a decent camcorder. You wouldn't want to leave it behind so will end up carrying it a lot or leaving it in the lockups. Joshuwarr
Im thinking of taking mine and putting it in one of the lock ups every night. Is this a good idea or not worth the hassle?
