Cheap cider in craft field

Last year on the Wednesday I was wandering around the craft and healing bit when out of the corner of my eye I saw a stall with a sign advertising cider for £2 a go. Was tempted but carried on wandering about, thinking I'd go back the next time I was near.

Went back the next day, couldn't find it anywhere.

Can anyone else confirm this actually existed - or was it a kind of mirage brought about by scrumpy withdrawal?

(I'm sure it wouldn't have been as good as Burrow Hill either way...)

Yeah I had some on the sunday.

Unfortunatly I couldn't drink it because it tasted like piss. That's not a diss on the cider itself, it just i had drank so much in the previous days that by Sunday ANYTHING alcoholic tasted like piss, I just could not drink any more :D

I'll have to try it again this year.

Yes it was real!! we met the people that ran it by our tent, I face painted them and then they said we could have some of their home-made cider in return-and how nice it was too!! gorgeous stuff, they picked all the apples themselves and had them pressed and brought a few massive containers full of the stuff to sell, really nice guys...have to keep an eye out for them this year!!!
