Kiddie orientated checklist

Hello all

We are taking our 3 year old with us this year and as this will be our first time camping with her, I wondered if anyone had a definitive kiddie orientated checklist of things we should/must bring.

Sorry if this thread has been started elsewhere.

Cheers

Can't speak from experience myself, but I thought it was great when my friends brought their toddler and had with them:

- kiddie ear plugs, for obvious reasons both when watching music and at night

- disposable camera from Boots (they do fun ones) so their toddler could make a scrap book of their festival

- wellies and two raincoats

I've never taken a child, but spent time last with friends who had 3 in tow. They had a fishing trolley, all comfy with cushions on it to make for easy getting about. The site's a huge place for little legs!

And a bucket/potty strapped to the trolley, it's a long way to toilets when you need a wee NOW & there's every chance your little one will take exception to the loos!

she can be a little fussy food-wise (she does loves fresh fruit, bread, cheese, veg etc though) so its a good call to take a few bits and pieces in the way of self catering. hopefully we can get fresh milk as she won't let us get away without giving her a cup last thing at night and first thing in the morning.

we have a trolley and a lightweight pushchair for getting around the site, and there's no way she's going near the festival loos, so a potty is a definite must-have. we are also taking a little hand-held solar powered shower so she can keep clean(ish).

thanks for all the great suggestions... :(

We run an NCT tent at the top of the Kidz Field and we do a bath time for babies and toddlers from 5pm on the Fri/Sat/Sun. If you child will fit in a baby bath they are welcome to bathe!

We also provide have spare sun cream, sun hats, wellies and wipes for those in desperate need!

We also have baby food, soft play, changing mats, microwaves, sterlizers, high chairs and cups of tea for the parents!

We are open from 9am-7pm Fri-Sun - come along and see us!
