Doves CAN NOT clash with Neil Young, please Mr Eavis!

Ive wanted to see Doves for the past 6 years or so but due to several reasons this hasnt been possible. I saw Neil Young last year and love his work, also his glasto appearance will be momentous. Just bought the new Doves album and this has thrown a further spanner in the works, cos it's incredible!

Please Mr Eavis move the Doves slot!

i was of that opinion up till i saw doves @ the forum and decided that even tho i have seen doves 10 times (and will be seeing them at least once, and maybe 3 more times, before glasto), and will be seeing them at either Latitude or Lovebox, depending which i choose to go to, i will still be seeing doves @ glasto, no matter who they clash with (id prefer a boss or blur clash tho)

hey tugs, have you been to lovebox before? I went last year for the flaming lips and it is not a great festival I didnt think. Not a great crowd at all. I would go for latitude if I were you - but stick around for nick cave on the sunday - he will blow doves away

i'm hoping the do clash with Neil Young, only pyramid headliner im not interesed in and Doves is gonna be special, (still hoping for a move to other stage but thats a whole different thread)

bin neil young off. He will play heavily from his new album and it's dogshit. The doves set is guaranteed to be ace. It's a no brainer

Just worried about getting a decent spot in John Peel to see Doves: It will be rammed!

Anyone think they may be on another stage as well?

Sunset slot on other stage (or Pyramid for that matter) would be perfect for me.

i agree, the one band that i want to see so far are the doves, and im going with a group of neil young fans. got no problem going off myself but in my experience its usually better seeing a band with your mates
