Festivals email problem

Hi Neil,

I don't know if you can help (or even if it is a problem with Horde and not Hotmail) but I keep having a problem emailing hotmail addresses from my festivals email.

I get the following error message:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at efestivals.co.uk.

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.

This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com>:

Connected to 65.55.37.88 but sender was rejected.

Remote host said: 550 SC-001 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your E-mail/Internet Service Provider for help. Email/network admins, please visit http://postmaster.live.com for email delivery information and support

Can you help? If not, any ideas if this is a Horde problem or a hotmail one?

Thanks in advance

Abbie

hotmail is being a pain in the arse currently, and on occasions is blocking mail sent from the server that the festivals.co.uk mail is hosted on. When it's blocked, the block is released after 72 hours.

I'm working thru their list of things that they recommend so that this doesn't happen, but even when I've done so they don't guarantee to not block the mails - but I'm hoping that the issue will be resolved.
