Hey,

I've set up a Nike+ challenge for people who are going to Glastonbury. You can run for your favourite band who are playing Glastonbury, a band you hope will be added to the line up, or just your favourite band. Just reply to this thread and I'll add your band if it's not already on the list. Here's the link...

As an aside me and my friend are growin our beards for the duration of the challenge (8 weeks). Anyone who has the potential to grow a beard can join us!

Good luck in the marathon themuel!

Well it's for people who use Nike+ (Nike+ is something you use with your ipod when you're jogging to record how far you've ran. Then you upload your miles to their website where they're recorded. You can find out all about it at nikeplus.com).

I've set up a challenge that lasts for the 8 weeks prior to Glastonbury. If you join the challenge any miles you run will be added to the total for your chosen band. The challenge is to see which band logs the most miles.

Here's the link to join the challenge

aah, got you. i spose i could do that. dont go running or anything but i could do this to make the effort of walking more often.

obviously ive not fully got you.

so ive to pick a band, and it only clocks my distance when that band plays?

and i have to tell you to add a band?

Everyone's welcome to join and it works for walking too but you'll need to be set up for nike+, i.e. you need an ipod nano, the nike+ running kit and an account. If you go to http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/ and click on "What is Nike+" it should explain it all. (I don't work for nike lol, I just want people to join my challenge!)

themuel, none of those bands are there at the minute but let me know which you'd like and I'll add it.

Laura Babs - with the Babs in your name are you in Birmingham?

If so - go to Sutton Park - great running, and so many people do it that no-one bats an eye!

I've also found that with my ipod on i don't hear any rude remarks or laughing!!!!
