There's 8 of us going so we're going to order a 1000 between us (approx cost £30), sounds a lot but a 100 each spread over 5 days plus a spare 200 for handing out to strangers.

So should have all our stuff sorted by this time next month I hope.

i got myself a new tent the other week. Went to Go Outdoors that'd just opened in Stockton and picked up a Vango Dart DS 200 for £49.99 and a nice Hi gear gas stove for £9.99 id recomend one of these to anyone.

I bought a tent from Argos at the weekend. 4 man tent half price, so cost £25. Put it up on Saturday and It's wonderful. Nice big porch area too, and alot better (and cheaper) than the tent I took to TITP and Leeds last year.

I'm looking forward to the end of May payday as that's when I'm doing my full Glasto shop!

Bought a camp bed yesterday, fed up of Air beds going down.....had three doubles at V last year and all were flat by morning even if I don't sleep much at least I'll have somewhere off ground to store my stuff if it turns to a river!

Yes. Have bought a trolley and a flag pole already. Total cost £30.

Need to get a T-shirt made up as well as buy my tent... me thinkgs a Vango Beta 450.

Considered a bigger rucksack, but with the trolley for beer and food etc, my rucksack can be used solely for clothes so should have enough room.

Purchased my tent the other month 3 man £60 reduced to £28 couldn't really resist. Still need to get some waterproof trousers & my booze other than that iam fairly sorted.

I've just bought sleeping bag and airbed as I'm doing a trial run with my new tent in Suffolk in a couple of weeks. Still need to get a waterproof jacket as I managed to lose mine last year at some point! I'm loving the inflatables and glowstick ideas, may be tempted if I've got spare cash beforehand!

bought a portable phone charger off ebay for £3.50. Dunno why I've never got one before.

learnt my lesson last year with the portable phone chargers, took loads of batteries to charge them with. was a waste of time to be honest, flattened the battery for about 10percent charge of your battery life !

this year i decided the best option was to buy 2 spare batterys for my phone from ebay (£9 with £1 postage for 2 batteries) from china. gonna charge them up before i go and swap them when my battery dies. save loads of hassle !

Got new lanterns from TK Maxx yesterday, want a new Army Surplus GoreTex (but don't need one as the one I have has been worn only half a dozen times from Brand new!)

Always want new tents but might settle for a small cheap tent as a reserve/storage tent for my camp.

Got some lovely hiking socks in Aldi, £2.99 a pair. They're really soft and not that horrible itchy wool that a lot of them seem to be, and they've got a soft cottony lining, should be perfect
