I always work it out in terms of what I'm likely to do each day. Work out how many pints you want (at, say £3 a pint), how many meals (three at £5 average?) then add on a bit for picking up the odd souvenir here and there, and you're done.

Think i took about £200 a couple of years back and didn't get through it in 5 days. Last year was there for a week and spent even less. As long as you're keeping it safe, you can always bring cash back.

it all depends really.

my dad goes and he loves to try the food and all the different types of drinks so he spends a lot.

you could take your own booze, your own food, etc. then you needn't spend that much.

i will probably take about £300 to £350. Hopefully won't spend that much but you never know.

I take spirits with me and buy beer, cos the beer you buy will be cold, and spirits, litre for litre work out much more expensive than beer. Please I like having vodka shots with all and sundry, offering them round and that. So, I'll probably bring 6/7 litres of vodka plus rum and that.

INSANE! I take around £100 and I fed myself every day day and bought a couple of pints a day there. Will be doing the same this year but will be cooking the majority of the meals for myself.

I reckon I'll take £200, but would rather buy clothes and souveniers rather than food and drink.

Certainly going to take as much food and drink as I can. Food to hopefully last me till Friday, and drink to last most of the weekend. Obv will be looking to sample some of the local brew and some hot food later in the week will be welcome

But not taking any food or drink at all is just wasting money.

I usually take £200 but never spend anything near that. Do tend to take a shitload of booze with me so don't really spend much at the bars. Spend most of my money on food (eat 3 times a day usually) and buy a t-shirt/hoodie/small souvenirs. Struggle to spend £110 - £120 over the weekend but like to have the extra there just in case. B)

Also... hunners of cereal bars are good as you can just pick a pile up at a supermarket and there is nil prep time.

I usually make up a load of wee rolls and sausage with tomato sauce in them... yum! And fire a few layers of cling film round them.

Will perhaps make a wee tomato based pasta as well, as I like that cold.

tbh... I think I only took 4 to T in the Park last year and ate them all on the 1st or 2nd day.

I usually cook some sausages in the George Foreman, then cut them in half length ways and put them on some rolls.

Reckon in cling film and in a decent cool bag they'd be fine till the Friday. May be an idea to add the sauce later in case the rolls go very soggy.

I'm wierd and love loads of cold food. Including sausage rolls which I took as well. Also scotch eggs are just amazing festival food.

However the sausage rolls and scotch eggs are exceptionally unhealthy so perhaps I will try to avoid these for the sake of my arteries!!
