I know it's a bit early, but wondering if Camp Funk is happening this year?

Last year I saw the flag, camped as close as I could and decided to get some liquid refreshment in the form of Brothers Cider before going over to say hello. But being Glastonbury, didn't get around to going over to say hello until the Sunday afternoon.

Spoke to a nice lass for a while and I think Mr Funk himself, seemed to be a friendly crowd!

Hope it's on again this year, and I'll make a point in coming over to say hello a bit earlier on this year!

Shame!

Thinking about it, I could just camp at Kidney Mead anyhow! Was much better than near the john peel stage the year before (too much buzzing from the pylons) and arse end of nowhere in 2005 (took ages to reach any of the stages, and not easy to find at night either).

Any other recommended sites / gatherings?

me and a few mates will be in kidney mead! i was the one who tried to get the camp funk thing going even though mr funk isnt coming but it didnt seem all that popular so instead there will be a gathering!
