Glasto is the start of my fest season but I'm always worried that there will have been a terrible mix up and my tickets won't arrive. Even going on this board feels a bit like tempting fate.

So I try not to let my excitement get the better of me till I've got my ticket in my hand.

That said, I am going around constantly looking for any new bits and pieces to add to my camping gear and will be oiling the wheels on my Glastomobile this weekend.

Wow, pimp my trolley!

I usually get really excited about events, then a day or so beforehand get really down and start hinking "dunno if I really want to go" and all the hassle involved and my bed and sofa always look really inviting - and then when I actually get where I'm going, I just go "woooo hooo!" and it's always great!

It's like starting from a low place, so the excellence of the gig seems even higher/amplified.

all my camping gear is in the spare/dining room. I was going to put it in the loft, but then I realised that glasto is only a couple of months away, got all excited, and decided to leave it all exactly where it is, makes me think its even nearer than it is.

I just want some more line up announcements to keep the excitement going.

My excitment levels have increased over the last couple of days cause of the announcements/rumours that have trickled through and the weather picking up. I've also got Bearded theory to look forward to which is just around the corner now. Excitment is reaching a very noticable level now

Hello hello hello, everybody hello.

I have a special spellbindingly unique announcement to make:

After viewing the extremely scrumptious thread with pictures a week before last years thread, I had an immediate buzz of exitement. And I'm not just saying this, I mean I felt all bubbly inside with butterflies in my stomach. It's only 9 weeks to go and I'm already wetting myself with exitement, I think I should go see a doctor or something cause it's a serious case of OVER exitedness. I havn't even watched the DVD in ages, but I'm planning to do so a week before, as well as watch all of the coverage that I recorded last year and deleting it etc. Anyway, I just want to say this one thing: If I am this exited now, by the last couple of weeks, I'm going to be an absolute wreck. I mean think about it: No GCSES, Nothing to do to take my mind of glasto, being on these forums everyday, with everyone pondering over the acts there going to see, what the hell else is there for me to do apart from get disturbingly exited!

So who else is as exited as I am???!!!!. Also, if you have pics of last year, or any year in that case, share them with us. Especially if they are the retro ones, you know 70s, 80s and 90s. Lets see if we can keep this thread up until the festival starts! yeah!!!! exitement!

Oh ho ho! I know I already got all excited here, but I've since been stalking the line-up rumours and some new stuff has really got me a bit hysterical! Mr Scruff!! Bays ft. Beardyman! Peter Doherty! Eat Static! I barely even like some of them but I have friends who love them and it's just going to be BRILLIANT!

9 WEEKS PEOPLE! Imagine the joy! The wonderful, glorious arrival and knowing that you're going to have 5 of the best days of your life! The amazingly lovely people everywhere... the discovery of new music, new food, new friends! The listening to bands you love with people you love and looking around and seeing that you're in a crowd of thousands, or just in front of a tiny stage with a crazy drunk man. The dancing till your legs are tired and your wellies rub, and only going to bed when you literally can't stand up any longer. The sitting around at stupid hours of the morning in strange places that can only be found at night, listening to bizarre repetative music and talking to wise and mysterious strangers. The intoxication (even if only by sheer joy), and the in-jokes it creates with your friends, that you know will last until the next year! The horrific tiredness, emotional exhaustion that reaches you by Sunday night and creates a blur of joy mingled with deep regret that life isn't like this all the time.

Ok I'm getting a bit sentimental. But seriously, it's not that far away now... AND I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!

Im Extremeley excited, I get married on the Saturday before then straight to Bath and then Glastonbury on Wed Im hoping my honeymoon is not mud filled! and instead of the Glastonbury blues im going to Hong Kong and Bali straight after This is going to be the best summer ever!!
