Camping around caravans

we've decided to take a caravan this year but have friends travelling down without one and it'd be good to get some insight into the caravan fields because we don't have a clue between us:

1. Can people camp around caravans

2. If so, would there be space for a couple of tents

3. If not, can people sleep in awnings

4. Is the caravan field outside the perimeter fence (i.e. do you get checked coming in and out all the time or is it a case of once you're in, you're in like with the rest of the festival)

i've drudged up and down the FAQ's on the website and they seem at times to be painfully ambiguous, so any help would be massively appreciated

Strictly I think you are not supposed to camp next to your caravan , but then again I have seen

it happen.

Yes you can sleep in the awnings !

Yes the caravan/camper field is outside the arena , its about 15 min walk to the nearest gate

and you have to go through the ticket check in. Pedestrian Gate C. And you have to walk up and

down the hill of death.
