the hall are big fans of local music and thus try their hardest to bring them greater exposure but like ed said.time is precious and theres masses of work to do and not a lot of people to do it.this year simon sweeping the nation is writing programme notes on all the local acts for the main festival this year.we created the fringe to bring greater attention to the very local acts you mention (all of which are brilliant).i promise even the people at dmh argue passionately about local bands. The best thing to increase the attention is to go to some fringe gigs and get all your friends to also.because if this years 2 weeks of fringe events arent a success then noone will try to repeat it again!
