Spider43
What was the worst thing you saw left behind last year? I camped close to and chatted to a group of young girls who all took about £60 for the weekend but left two perfectly good tents cos they couldn't be arsed to take them back. Sure there was worse but anyone find anything better (or worse)? Edited April 24, 2009 by Spider43

glastofreak
A mate of mine kitted herself out for a full camping trip on what was left behind. Camping stove, cooking gear all of it unused and in it's boxes. Mad. Either sad because people cannot be bothered to take stuff home or some people have too much money. grumpyhack
I get really saddened at what people leave behind - the throwaway society etc. But the worst I've encountered, apart from lots of perfectly good tents, was when I was doing the site cleanup at another festival. Unlike Glasto where you have to trek in with all your gear, it was a festival where you could drive your car to your camping spot, unload and then drive off to the car park. One group brought a three piece suite. It really should have gone to the tip but they hit on the idea of taking it to the festival as a very comfortable way of sitting and enjoying the sun. And then, they just left it behind for the site clean up team to deal with. I admired the idea of taking a really comfy sofa and chairs but I was really pissed off at them leaving it behind for us to dispose of. WildChildRockChick
In a bundle on the floor? because you tried to hit one in and it broke then tried again and it too broke but left a jagged shard that cut your hand and bled everywhere so you through them on the floor in disgust and got out the metal ones you brought just in case but made sure you collected at the end of the festival because it was a no brainer to take with you? Bitter bitter personal experience.......
