Best Main Stage performances in 2008 for each day?

Friday - Didn't see anyone on the main stage, i'd imagine KoL were the best of a bad bunch

Saturday - Saw Raconteurs and some of Seasick Steve from miles away, so i'd say Raconteurs, they were pretty good.

Sunday - I think Leonard Cohen is probably the right answer, didn't see him tho!

Friday - Only saw KOL

Saturday - Only saw about 10 minutes of the Raconteurs

Sunday - Only saw the Verve!

Just fancied other bands really.

Best band of the weekend were Elbow or Massive Attack

Didnt spend much time at the Pyramid last year. Was at the Other Stage more. From what I did see though KOL, Jay Z and The verve were all sound. Didnt see Leonard Cohen because I was watching the Euro final but I heard he was great. Neil Diamond was good too. One of them funny Glasto moments when everyone was singing sweet Caroline and the sound went off ha.

Foals and Vampire Weekend were great on the Other stage though.

pyramid - kings of leon were amazing!

other - we are scientists (my fave band so im biased)

saturday

pyramid - didnt visit at all that day

other - the wombats - the sun was out the drinks were flowing and the singalongs were immense!

sunday

pyramid - the verve - perfect end to a perfect festival

other - the zutons - crowdsurfing when they did valerie, met some amazing people in that crowd!

Isn't this all a bit subjective?

I didn't visit pyramid last year, but Groove Armada were excellent (as usual) on my only trip to the Other Stage. Zutons before them were good too.

friday pyramid i'd say KOL (only saw kath nash, get cape wear cape fly, and KOL)

saterday didnt see anyone on pyramid

sunday the verve (as it was onyl pyramid act i saw, but i do remember running all full speed with 2 or my mates totaly tripping balls through the pyramid field looked up at one of the screens to see who i believe to be leonard cohen)

sun - leonard cohen although the verve were brilliant as well

forgot to add - probably the funniest thing all weekend, we went to see 4 puffs and a piano in the cabaret tent i think on the saturday, pissed myself laughing all the way through the act, brilliant!
