How Hilly is Pennards

After years of camping on a gentle slope at T in the Park, I finally got a very flat spot at Connect last year.

Really noticed the difference and was far more comfortable.

Just wondering what Pennards is like for camping? I know there is a general slope through the field... but are there flat spots throughout? And is it a particularly big slope?

Planning on getting there quite early, so hopefully not have to settle for a slopey area but thinking Pennards is a good spot to aim for given location on site.

ye it's certainly on a slope more so towards the top

we stayed there (at the bottom, near the other stage entrance) last year, and it wasn't noticeable

pretty flat in that general area but for those of 05 mainly but also 07 it is the worst hit bit of pennards

though there are added defenses now

pros and cons really weigh them up yourself but there certainly are flat areas

If it rains much you'll be glad to be on a hill. Being a valley, both sides of the site are a slope. Park Home and the Dairy Ground are flat, at the bottom of the valley and, um, that's where the water ends up.

Mind you, it won't rain this year :D

But it's sunny in both those pics!!

I take it the flooding is a very small part of the site, at the bottom of the hill?
