Can people stop complaining about people moaning?

...this is the kind of irresponsible behaviour that can rip a hole in the space/time continuum and cause all manner of problems...

On a more serious note, I can understand why people don't like people moaning, but speaking as one of the moaners, my main concern is V keeps on the same slippery slope for the next few years, there won't be a V festival much longer...and as its been such an important part of my life for the last God knows how long...that would be a baaaad thing.

We only moan because we care!

Who knows...the next announcement might be Super Furrys, Flaming Lips, Nick Cave, Public Enemy, Franz Ferdinand and then I'll be quite happily skipping through the marigolds with the rest of the happy clappy brigade

I think my problem with the moaning is that it makes us who are quite happy with the line-up start thinking there's something wrong with us!!! In fact I don't think I'll be coming on here anymore so I can start looking forward to going again!

The fact I'm going to watch (and enjoy) the likes of Razorlight, Oasis, The Enemy, Lily Allen + those "acceptable bands" like Ocean Colour Scene, and also the fact that I couldn't care less if Seasick Steve is there or not, makes feel like some inferior being on this message board.

The bottom line is me, the missus and 10 of our mates are going to V - as I have been doing since 1998, I'm going to eat, drink, dance, be merry, have a hell of a laugh and spend Monday/Tuesday recovering and probably singing the Day We Caught The Train or Don't Look Back In Annger repeatedly in my head!!!!!

To be honest, watching Razorlight should be the most fun, as everyone will be either watching someone else or selling their tickets or not going, there should be plenty of space for me!!

as well as the fact that the line up isn't quite up to the standard that many V veterans are used to, i think the main reason people are moaning is that were in April/May. the festival it's self is months away, for me i have endure exams before that and i'm sure many of you also have agonizingly mundane tasks to endure before that reward that is "festival season"

but just because it's a long way off doesn't mean you should bring your negative vibes into the forums cos yes your entitled to your opinions but its bringing optimists/first timers down

Do the people who moan about the people moaning actually think that the people moaning are going to be happy about shelling out £170 then having to put up with shoddy festival organiser? We're not exactly going to be like:

"I've just paid £170 for a festival, they've taken off one of the truly original acts with a decent back catalogue in favour of a manufactured pop child who has just released her first single, and have not given us any new information about the festival. Also, they havn't improved festival facilities (toilets, security etc) but welcomed far too many people onto campsites to increase their earnings. But that's fine. I'm sure they're far too busy to take us valued customers who have helped make V what it is today into consideration. I'll keep paying them my hard earned money every year and not expect any kind of improvements."

Hardly.
