Highlight of 09

Just a bit of a laff to keep spirits high, pass the time and hopefully get people to start thinking ahead to V and getting a lil bit excited

What are people thinking is going to be the highlight of their V this year?

A paticular band?

The indie disco?

Campsite antics? Maybe share the jokes or pranks you do in the campsite?

...and im gonna go ahead and say no one put down headliners, cos its a bit of an obvious choice for a few people

The Proclaimers. They were boss in 07 and were one of my highlights then.

James will also be a highlight - they are just superb live!

And the weather, cos its gonna be a dry and sunny and warm August this year. I predict.

Think Starsailor will be awesome and I agree on the Proclaimers and James. In my opinion however, I think Ocean Colour Scene will be the highlight.

this will be my first year a V so i am hoping the criac will be good in the campsite. meet new people and have a gr8 time. hopefully some fit girls aswell. i think the highlight for me will be will be Oasis, although there is loads of groups i really want to see.

another highlight will be the criac me and my mates have coming over from northern ireland and tryin to find it lol should be very eventful

Im hoping The Specials put on a great performance, Im also thinking Happy Mondays will be the business like in 2007, and I haven't seen James yet so Im looking forward to them too

Really theres a lot I want to see now, Athlete, The Wombats, Biffy Clyro, Starsailor, OCS, Jet, Gomez [if they play] and thats not even counting any headliners

Looking forward to the whole weekend, but The Killers are the band i really want to see with Ocean Colour Scene a close second.

Well apart from Killers and Oasis - i really think OCS are going to be awesome in the Chelmsford sunshine!! Looking forward to seeing Starsailor (hopeful no clashes). Also can't wait to see Specials and having a laugh around the smaller "tents" - like the XBox caravan/tent - had such a laugh there last year with my nephew dancing to the likes of Michael Jackson and Dizee Rascal!!!!!! It was the end of the night!!!!

and soooo looking forward to meeting other people on the long walks to and from campsites!!

It will be my first V and first festival ever lol. I'm just looking forward to meeting new people, having a great time and seeing my friend live without hair straightners. Can't wait to see the Killers again either.

Indie disco, Efest camp (if it all goes to plan), food cooked on disposable BBQ's, that time when things change from day to morning and your tent becomes warm from the sun, Oasis, OCS, The Wombats and lots more.

I'm really looking forward to the indie disco. Oasis and The Specials being my two favourite bands will be pretty good too.
