  1. 1. Should I go to my little Brother's wedding or Glasto?

invitation to a wedding on facebook thats shocking!!!

You know you want to go to Glastonbury and 10 years is a big deal for you and your girlfriend. You say you only knew your brothers wedding was in the summer its pretty short notice he has given you to the actual date.

At the end of the day if you go to the wedding your not going to want to be there, and will be defalt have a shit time. Your brother will be able to tell you do not want to be there, so whats the point. Get them a really good wedding present and get yourself of to Glastonbury

I missed a Glastonbury for a wedding once.

I think you should go to the wedding. Even if you'd prefer to be at G, I'm guessing it would mean a lot not only to your brother but to other family members.

I think a compromise is in order here. You've got to go to your brother's wedding, but don't want to miss the Glasto experience. All you've got to do, is turn up to the wedding in your wellies, get the DJ to crack the speakers up to 11, get stoned with some of the other wedding guests, get out of your face on scrumpy and take a sh*t in a bucket at the back of the reception. Everyone's a winner!

Regardless of how he asked you - he is your bro. I dont get on very well with my brother, but I still wouldn't chose glasto over his wedding.

How do you think you will feel in 20 years time, after you have been to another 17 Glastonburys, but never went to his wedding......?

I knew he was getting married in the summer but didn't know the date until after I had got tickets. As someone stated he is a bit of a bellend for booking it to clash with Glasto. He knows how much it means to me, last year me and my girl quit our jobs just to go!

f**k him right off mate.

He invited you by Facebook!! at VERY short notice!

so its his fault, if he misses you on his wedding day, then hes obviously enjoying it wrong,

and he should realise its his own fault.

Glastonbury man, Glastonbury.

Dont listen to these other Self-Righteous twats <_<B)

If it was my brother, I'd probably talk it over with him and end up going to Glasto with his blessing.

I mean wedding photos don't generally make me wish I was there watching the drunk uncles and folks you only see at family get togethers. But seeing post-glasto pics would make me gutted if I missed it!

But if he really wanted me to go then I'd go to the wedding, and go to a lesser <_< festival later in the season!

Depends on how close you are to your brother I guess.
