All in One Sleeping Bags

Was at Decathlon today and saw the all in one sleeping bag (basically self inflating mat, sleeping bag and pillow all together) and they were selling them for £50. http://www.quechua.com/EN/sleepin-bed-5-l-stripes-67764651/

Couple of questions for you experienced campers out there:-

Has anyone every bought one?

Are they any good?

Is there anywhere that does something similar for cheaper?

Any feedback appreciated before I go and fork out £50!

That does look pretty good! Haven't had one so I can't really say if they are good though.

This could be a cheaper alternative, you have to pump it up yourself and I'd recommend a small pillow, but mine has done a few Leeds fests now, as well as a couple of sleepovers, and is still good as new! You can get it in double size as well if you want.

I think I would find that one a bit uncomfortable to sleep in. I roll around a lot and that looks like it would be too restrictive. A separate sleeping bag and airbed would be fine, as you can just roll around and the sleeping bag will come with you. As soon as you fix the mattress to the sleeping bag, you're forced to keep still.

I use one of these. It looks like the same kind of thing, but it's a double, and it's more like a duvet than a sleeping bag - so you've got more freedom to move. I've been using it for the last 3 years, and I swear by it now. It's a bit big to carry, and you need to bring a pump, but it's well worth the hassle.

And don't forget - bring a pillow. The 'built-in' pillows in air-beds are rubbish, and using your clothes as a pillow is just wrong.

Edit: sorry - just realised I've totally duplicated everything that mandypants has just said. Must remember to read thread before posting.

lol :P

Also, if you do go for the Quechua one, I'd check to see if you can take the inflatable bit out, otherwise it's going to be really difficult to get clean, the Ready bed inflatable part comes out so you can stick the sleeping bag in the washing machine.
