i'm trying to talk the burd into leaving very early morning so we get down there for 12ish on Wednesday. hopefully we can miss any traffic til very close to the site

Another two from Pitteuchar, Glenrothes (sh*te town/cheap mortgage/live more )!!!

Leavin on the tues morning and stopping off somewhere nice.

Work in dunfermline (and dunfermline-ish).

The journey down is easy.

The journey back

Well worth it though. Would love to do it for the first time again (pfffttt!!!)

Got home to Paisley from Glastonbury in 6 hours driving time last year, though that was sitting at a fairly decent speed all the way.

I'm sure we made it in 7 in 2002, and that was with a major detour to avoid the British Grand Prix

I'm looking to leave about 5/6am and hope to be down there for lunch - with a can of tennents, natch

South Parks born and bred for me.. stayed there till mid 20 then went back about 6 years ago for a couple years.

Parents still live there so need to visit now and then too!

Would it be racist if I brought my Scouser other half? I am not a Fifer - but I know a few. Live and work in Edinburgh now - but originally from just outside Glasgow.

Been lurking here for a few months now - but fellow Scots have brought me out. Be nice to me - I am a bit shy and innocent (honest!)
