We haven't even had the "Two weeks to go and my tickets haven't turned up yet, SeeTickets are useless and this is the end of the world!!" phase yet. Still, sometimes it is nice to pre-empt these things. Now where is that weather thread....

Part of me is pleased they come late because there is less chance of me losing them, but then at the same time I doubt that is the reason they do it.

If the Government can produce millions of swine flu leaflets in two weeks, why on earth can SeeTickets not print out their tickets and get them out sooner, just to calm people down. It's not like this is their first year doing this....

We had to pick up our overseas tickets from Castle Cary, near the festival...

I'm fairly certain they will not be posting to Oz...

Although this is on the official site:

"International tickets will be sent out by registered international post. Please ensure you give your full international address when booking."

This seems strange to me... But i guess thats the way it goes.

krunchy, you seem to have underestimated the incompetence of See. It would seem that they may be sending tickets going to the same house in several different dispatches!! AND sending the parking tickets seperate!!! this wouldn't be the first time they have completly f**ked up

I think I might be jumping the gun with the bitchyness over here. I am sure they aren't stupid enough to not send out international orders early, that being said, it is a shame that I didn't have an option to pick them up at the box office...

...that being said, last time I picked up tickets that way was coachella '07, and I had to wait about 8 hours in 40 degree weather to get my tickets. No kidding.

I'm worried too, I leave for the UK on the 19 and I bloody hope my tickets are with me by then.... I was also looking for an option to pick them up at a box office or something but there wasn't one...

saying that, once I purchased tickets from see to see Oasis in Manchester in 2005, and there also wasn't an option to pick up at the box office, but around 3 weeks before the gig they send me an e-mail saying they wouldn't ship international tickets and I had to pick them up at a box office......

besides, I asked seetickets first for an address change, but they put the country name wrong.... asked them to correct that which they did but now they chopped off the zip code!

Last year we waited in vain for our 'international' tickets to arrive (we're in Ireland). After inquiring with Seetickets 'support team' on the 10th of June I finally got a reply on the 18th stating

"This year all ticket collections will take place at the Festival site.

Tickets will be available for collection on presentation of valid photo ID,

which matches the name on the ticket, at the festival ticket collection point."

We we're told we would be posted the ticket (just like this year) but it never happened. When we got on site, without the parking ticket we paid for, we were issued with blank tickets. The tickets had no pictures on them and our name was scrawled on by the lady who gave them to us. We had to carry passports with us each time we left the site to go to the car. Why bother registering if you're going to be treated as if you never did?
