Why do my sigs keep getting removed when there are people on here with pics as theres, whats the problem ffs?

And if it's the case that they are not allowed, then why the f**k is it that mine get removed when others don't .. 3 times i have changed them to keep you happy yet I still see others with pics as there sigs!!!

It's bullshit m8, 1st it was a pic which I was told was too big .. so I removed it and replaced it with a small thin sig pic ... then I changed it to a countdown clock .. I was moaned at again because of it & it was removed.

I then replaced it with another small forum sig bar & now this ... I don't understand why I seem to be singled out when others have pics in their sigs .. I can't even have a small sig bar in mine without getting whinged at.

Haven't the Admin got better things to worry about than bitching to people about their small sig bars.

Fair enough if they are not allowed, but if that's the case then why the are other people allowed pics in their sigs which are 5 times the size of mine!!!

I turned signatures and avatars off years ago.

I couldn't even tell you what my avatar looked like!

If they wan't to ban me over a sig then so be it, I have a valid point though.

if I see ANY sigs with unsuitably large graphics of text I either remove it and leave a message in the sig or contact the person via PM.

I can only deal with those I see - I'd like to be psychic, but that brain upgrade is still currently on backorder.

The reason for no large sigs is to help keep these boards usable for all - if you care to check some other forums, you can't find people's posts amongst the horrendously large sigs - these forums are not going to be allowed to go the same way.

These forums have always been run on this basis - at times there's been a mod added to the forums to limit the size of people's sigs, tho it stopped working for some reason a while back and I've not had time to look at fixing it (if I can fix it).

What's wrong with a small usebar sig though I can't undertstand & from day 1 I have come across a few people in these forums with pics as their sigs, yet they still seem to have them .. I'm on these fourms less than you so surely you have come across them.

You've had banners in your sig, and banners aren't allowed.

(yes, I know I have them, but they're not me saying "look at me", they're me trying to find the money to keep this website running).

The rules are these:

Allow links in signature? No

Limit the number of lines to 7

Limit number of characters per line to 80

Limit the number of images to 1

Limit the size of each image

SIZE(kb): 10

WIDTH(px): 225

HEIGHT(px): 68

Limit the total size of images (kb): 10

If you stick within that then there's no problem.

if you'd like to send an email to webmaster@efestivals.co.uk with the usernames of any people whose sigs exceed the limits I gave above they'll get dealt with as soon as I have a moment (unlikely to be today as I'm playing catch-up after being off sick).
