I've been saying since January that I was going to lose weight for Glasto - so far I've lost about 15lbs, but thats because I've eaten crap at weekends, and booze. I can't just have a glass of wine, I have to have a bottle. And Cider has 200 calories a pint - at one point I was going out every night and drinking shit loads of cider, so piled weight on.

Only had 2 big blow out nights out on the booze since Feb, completely changed my diet - eating a bagel and half a melon for breakfast, brown rice, kidney beans and chicken for lunch, and salmon & steamed veg for tea... and I've started running again. Can only do 2 miles or so without stopping, but where I live is hilly, so the only flat bit is my street... Definately feel like I've lost more weight, my work trousers used to be fitted and straight legged, but now are really baggy so I could do with going down a size or 2.

I was out running at 5am this morning, now it's light, its wonderful, and atleast I don't have to think about doing it when I get in from work - I can just veg cos my exercise has been done.

Not buying any new Clothes til the Monday before Glasto -that's my shopping day and hopefully will have dropped a couple of sizes.

I've stopped weighing myself now though because I became a bit obsessed with it, and my weight can fluctuate by 6lbs in just a day so I don't see the point. The numbers don't fall fast enough for me, but I can definately see a difference in my shape, and my legs are definately getting more muscle tone to them.

Good luck to you all xx

Also trying to get fit for the big game on Wednesday. Done the altitude training (in the upstairs room) and the hot weather training (a beach in Egypt) so reckon England are in for a stuffing. Seriously, started something called British Military Fitness 6 months ago and reckon it's great. All done outdoors, in all weathers, with military (or ex-military) fitness instructors. Hard work, great fun, and a lovely bunch of people. They have classes all over the country now. Should say I don't work for them, not on a bung, not involved in any way but I do like the way they do things and the results are visible. Roll on kick-off on Wed - England beware!

I've been going to the gym three times a week since Feburary. I'm wondering if I shouldn't step that up to going daily in the run-up to glastonbury?

I think I need to work on my stamina somehow, in order to be able to dance for 8-10hrs solid for 3-4 days! Bring it on!

OK I'm depressed

I was just thinking this morning that I better get some "training" in for Glastonbury, so that I can walk all day and dance all night. So, when I saw the title of this post I thought great!

But you're obviously all so very fit anyway!! I do nothing and was hoping there would be other hopeless people on here too ;)

I shall just have to hold you all up as shinning examples... now where was my gym membership card

Been playing football 3-4 times a week (sometimes 5 if friends need a player last min) for a few years now. I'll be walking the West Highland Way (Milngavie to Fort William- roughly 97 miles) over 5 days about 2 weeks before Glasto too. I'll either be really fit or i'll be fed up walking by time glasto comes
