if you want my honesty...not done much. stepper and sit ups dont exist anymore...

BUT.

still not having any takaways...or 'bad eating'...i live with a excellent chef that cares about food big time...so thats really not on my own back :D

i still obviously walk to work

but over all im feeling better about my self, abit of sunny weather and last years frilly dresses made me relase im not so bad. and i'll quite happyily wear them short dresses and DMs again this summer.

all smiles here.

I want to be fit enough to get to the top of the Tower of Ribbons at the park stage without looking at it and thinking I can't be ars*d (like I did last year)

I hope a couple of spinning classes, a couple of bodypump classes each week and a couple of hill walks between now and glasto could do the trick...... We'll soon see.....

I played summer hockey tonight. I got hit in the shoulder, on the bone, by a hockey ball - OW.

I may have to stop hockey in case I get injured and it affects my Glasto plans! I broke my big toe just over a month ago and had to wear a special shoe for a couple of weeks. This wouldn't fare well in mud.

I got horrendously drunk at the weekend and ended up vomming lots, in public

I've decided not to drink at all this month in the run up to Glasto. But is that really a good idea? Am I going to get there, have some cider and be totally wasted because I haven't been drinking? Perhaps I should drink in moderation this month rather than going over the top like I usually do.

yep, i was thinking of giving up the booze until glasto but realised that i have my birthday and some friends visiting in between now and then, so have decided to only drink on special occasions (i.e. no more 'a few pints after work becuase it's sunny').

this is purely for weight loss though, and i am a little worried about tolerance, but i can't imagine a few weeks will make much difference. since i started drinking properly again (about a month ago) i've been steadily gaining 2-2.5 pounds a week, despite eating the same as normal and massively upping my excercise (did about 11 hours last week and still put on two and half pounds!). it must just be the booze

as for all you people talking about dropping a stone for glasto, do you think it's still possible? that was my original aim, but i have now 1) gained another half a stone :) and 2) have only 4 weeks left

hmmm, thanks for that emmmmma, think i will avoid them and go for the good old 'eat less and get more excercise'!

i had a google on the new alli ones from evil glaxo and it talks about making your pill ineffective if it gives you a chronic upset stomach - i think i'd rather be fat at glastonbury than spend half the weekend in the longdrops :)

Managed to get in a hillwalk this afternoon. <_<

Climbed Ben Lomond today, 974m of ascent and a 7 mile round trip. 2 hours 10 minutes to get to the top and 1 hour 10 minutes to get back down. Really hard work as it was stiffling hot on the lower parts of the hill and I feel absolutely knackered but good at the same time.

Some pics to make you jealous! ;)

Looking up the hill from the start point at Rowardennan.

The views over Loch Lomond were the reward for the hard work in getting to the top.

Looking over towards the "Arrochar Alps".

After weighing myself this morning I am definatley dieting before Glasto!

I have had a healthy breakfast and I have emailed my very sporty friend for some top fat burning tips! Hopefully I'll be able to put something into action so I am a little smaller for Glasto, although I wish I weighed myself earlier and then I could have started to do something about it sooner!

Well after putting on two stone between jan and march whilst working away eating amazing food and generally drinking far to much.

I got home and was put on the weight watchers by the girlfriend, managed to drop about 1/2 of a stone.

Luckily i'm now working in Muslim country untill the week before glasto so no booze, trying to eat more salad and have cut out bread, cheese and potatoes.

Generally walking around and climbing scaffold all day in 30 degrees heat so hopefully will lose some more.

If only i could knock the pack cigs a day i'd be grand!!!!

Great pics!

I'm training twice a day, 4/5 times a week at the moment as I have a kickboxing tournament coming up. I'm feeling great and my fitness is definately benefitting, however i have one small problem. Said fight is the Sunday after Glasto. I'm wondering if (1) I'll be in a fit state of mind.... and (2) if I'd have caught up on my sleep and be suitably rested?! lol

<_<
