f**kin' hate that geezer with his hat.Saw him on 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' and thought he was another Tim Westwood, trying to hard to be all ghetto.Complete mug.

Met the bird from N-Dubz,she came to my club and we had her kicked out as she was being an arse and she was there mouthing off to our security team doing the usual,''Don't you know who i am?I earn more than you in a day then you earn in a week!'' which made me laugh as the doorman in question runs the firm which also does security for jewelary/art and other things. The guy seriously is a millionaire with offices in Germany!

So yeah,N-Dubz...c**ts.

Its funny how all the people defending N-Dubz selection, seem to have a 09 join date and have things like

09 - V Festival Chelmsford

09- T4 on the beach

No one who went to V a couple of years back would ever admit to going to T4 on the beach!! Now it is the same demographic, it is what V has become. Its blatantly obvious the people going to V this year are folk who have watched it on T4 over the last couple of years and are into all this pop guff, see it as credible music and think V looks great on the telly

V is dead as you know it people, perhaps it is time to stop moaning, pack up and move on and leave it for this new crowd. We starting to plan our Coachella trip last night, some sunshine in March is just what's in order, then Reading only in August for some decent music

V is a festival for people who don't like festivals, it has been for a couple of years tbh but from the newbie posts here & the line-up it seems like the V organisers have finally cottoned onto this fact.

The average Leeds or Download goer would probably consider V if the line-up appealed. The average V goer wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

do south by south west instead if you can afford it, will cost u a bit more. but it's the best festival in america ^

coachella is supposedly like prison camp, designated drinking areas etc - SXSW has free food and beer all week along with about 2000 odds bands :P

Bit off topic but I'm always surprised on here when people get defensive, usually the weekend after V when people are slagging off the organisation, lack of toilets, blatant profiteering etc. You'll always find the people defending V are those that have never been to another fesitval & thus have no frame of reference....bizarre.

That sir is a she, my she, and she likes a hell of a lot of music, the most varied taste I know, she just so happens to like Ndubz as well, and to be honest IMO its fine they're on the line up cus I might not like them but like its been wrote in here already others might, and yes I'll agree with other points that TITP do it better than V but they are trying to branch out into different genres, but like said when they tried acts like Lost Prophets the crowd doesn't care

It wasn't that people didn't care about Lost Prophets, they were just terrible (at Staffs anyway). Lead singer with a huge ego who spent more time talking at the crowd than playing. I'm not a huge LP fan but was really looking forward to them, ended up boo'ing and shouting abuse.

Wasn't that the crowd didn't appreciate them/didn't know what to do, they were just rubbish. There are enough loons at V, Iggy Pop a couple of years ago proved that, you just need a band to give you something to go mental for

There are two stages the main stage and the channel 4 stage. The main stage is on the beach itself and has all the pop acts on it and then the channel 4 stage is across the road on like a grass bank thing and tends to have the "rockier" acts (if u can class them as that) on there i.e this year i believe the gossip are headlining it. The bands start at 11am and finish around 6pm and there are several bars, fun fair, guitar hero bus & various other random entertainment stuff like that. Theres also a thing called the aygo disco in a mini tent thing and u get people from tv shows like skins, hollyoaks, eastenders, gladiators etc in there. IMO the main stage is crap the presenters are more worried about creating a tv show than they are the punters enjoying themselves. They say every 5 mins "right the cameras are coming on in a moment everyone scream ur socks off" but the channel 4 stage is really laid back with everyone just chilling n enjoyin the music

And those that do, eventually realise that they put up with a hell of a lot of crap at V. I think it's "Indie Rock and Roll" on here who had been to V a number of times, loved it, then went to Leeds and thought errrrmmm.. why do I go to V again?

and I know you haven't said it but she's never been to T4 on the beach but she is going to Download with me in 3 weeks :P

chill out guys, theres some great acts on and sum naff ones, you can't watch them all, just have a good time, and if you've lost faith in V then try something else, last year I did TITP and V, this year im doing Download and V, V alone isn't going to tick all the boxes anymore I don't think, but If you can afford it, do some others

SSW looks like a great lineup this year, I recommend it highly, and Lattitude looks good too although I've never been
