Crikey Jazz World has been bolstered, but in this game no one is safe. Shangri-La is my next target.. I went to that Slumber-rave on the last night and it stank.. at a festival where most people don't wash for a week, taking off shoes is not a good idea. Tilted Disco was a good idea but not as good as it was made out to be. Plus the pub place opposite SlumberRave had run out of ales which in my book is UNFORGIVABLE! Shangri La -5

im within my hour.... so time for seroius considerations again

firstly Hubz, I never said I hated the place you voted down I was explaining why your vote wasn't actually wasted im 50/50 on jazz world - seeing / meeting Candi Staunton is the plus nearly losing my very expensive wheelchair to the crowd and mud is a negative that i'm having therapy for

on the face of it i am polarized to dance... its what i grew up with with my family being friends of those who owned the likes of cream its inevitable in some ways.

to be honest Shangri-La got over hyped and therefor has an unfortunate and not its own fault disappointment about it ... also some of the venues not being thought out for disabled access - the bed place just didnt have the floor space for my chair to turn and the fancy dress shop had silly steps to the good stuff...... silly mistakes that should have been designed out - i'm not saying the Staff were not helpful, but physical barriers are physical barriers.

huum lot to ponder....

Oh dear, I seem to have got in on this too late to save Avalon

-3 to Glade as while I love the location amongst the trees the music is less appealing to me than some other areas of the site.

+2 for Shangri La as on my one trip to the baseline circus it seemed to embody the disorganised chaos of Glastonbury of old. Also the first time anyone goes to Shangri La it is all just so unexpected that it can only be positive experience.
