Dirty Smokers

I just wanted to ask about the cigarette smoking situation at Glasto, I know it's allowed, but not in tents and I will do my best to keep my fags off the ground (love the farm etc) but are they easily accessible and reasonably priced? Should I pick up my own fags before? Is there variety? Would I be better off picking up a 100 pack of my preffered brand (Camel Blues) before I go?

dont forget these! they used to free, anyone know where they still are free? I know Surfers Against Sewage did free ones a couple of years ago but they seem to have stopped too.

As for the cigs, defo take your own, saves a lot of money

Buy before you go...and before you start on your journey too! I had a busy year last year and had to buy from a service station on the way down. They were about the same price as at the festival!

Also, ran out on Sunday night after the music and had to buy a pack. All I could find was Silk Cuts which wouldn't have been my usual choice.

After being ill and losing my voice last month, I sort of gave up. I have done really well (even if I do say so myself!!!) I have smoked had the odd cigarette but that's it. I did buy a pack last Wednesday of 10 and have smoked 4 so far which isn't bad. I have also taken to smoking half at a time. Sorry...off topic. Just quite proud of my achievement!!!;););)

yeah,

It is worth taking your own, But they're not that much more expensive if you run out.

& if I remember correctly, It's camels they sell there.

I got given a 35mm film canister by one of the green police up in the greenfields a couple of years back, was very handy indeed. Do make sure you use them, it's dead easy and have heard picking up every cigarette end after the festival is one of the worst bits of the litter picking job.

Another vote for take your own. The yellow-signed shops are great for a lot of stuff you've forgotten but you will pay slightly over the odds for the convenience. And they may be running low by Sunday, which is the most likely day that you will have smoked your own supply.

200 Marlboro Menthol ftw.

I seem to recall people using 35mm film canisters. You can put the lid back on and keep it in your pocket until you're somewhere you can empty it.
