When is the line up offically announced ?

When is the line up offically announced ? Are we just expecting the TBCs to be organized into days and stages ? Actually how firm are the TBCs? Do you think we will get any surprises ?

Last year the announcement was the 1st of may, but from what I gather in the past its been the first week of June?

well............I might Mr Eavis the other day, and he said the line up is released on the 27th May! He did then slightly backtrack and say we would have heard everything for sure by the first week of June, I think he has too many dates going around his head to remember things that to him probably aren't all that important. Anyway, the moral of the story is, its around there sometime!

It is always released in the July edition of Q Magazine (the one out now is the June one cos they are awkward like that) the last one was released 28th April so 27th May sounds about right. If anyone can find out the release date of the next Q Mag then that is our date!

I'm pretty sure that the whole line-up is usually public knowledge by now (although not officially announced). The lack of confirmations this year, minus the headliners and a few others, is probably because they are still fiddling around with the running order and (as Neil intimates) still booking some big acts. Hopefully that means they'll be the odd genuine surprise emerging in the next few weeks.

Plus hopefully the Eavis's have seen the error of their ways and rearranged the clash between Doves and Neil Young!
