Yup, all you hardcore 'Tallica fans out there who rushed out and bought your Sonisphere tickets will receive NO Metallica goodies. But, if you're not that big a fan and have only recently decided to go to Sonisphere now that Feeder and Taking Back Sunday have been announced.... CONGRATULATIONS!!

what a load of shit. plus i read before that the free coach travel is only open to new customers too? complete bollocks. what a crap way to treat those who already bought tickets. i could've done with that free coach travel, and i wouldn't have minded a massive gh: metallica discount either.

Hmm... interesting. Is this on the official site? I was on the verge of buying a ticket anyway and was gonna buy the game so this works for me!

Before I do buy a ticket though is there any word on the final 2nd headliner? Who's the most likey ?

Bit of a mystery who this 2nd headliner is going to be, personally i think theyve ballsed it up and will bump B4MV up to 2nd, Anyway bands who could still play:

The Prodigy - Available that week and playing every other festival

Heavan & Hell

Rammstein - Doubt they will play to be honest

Jane's Addiction - in Australia on the 1st, so looking doubtful now wud have to play on the 2nd

Primal Scream

Black Label Society - Recently said theyr looking to do some euro fests around the time of Sonsiphere

Clearly DLs exclusivity means f**k all with their headlining bands so wouldn't be suprised to see FNM or slipknot. Tool were mentioned but are playing in the US that weekend.

It was meant to be announce some weeks ago but no announcement was made so I guess the situation changed. Could mean one of 2 things. The band hasn't been booked. Or alternatively it could be a DL band and need to wait until DL is out of the way before announcing it.

My money is on Slipknot or Offspring. :) Or no-one! :D:)

Looks like my Sonisphere policy for future years will have to match my one for Download. Wait until there's some deal that suits me and the line-up is largely released. Free coach travel from London would have been a very nice deal.

My last guitar hero guitar was the most cheaply made game accessory ever, and by all accounts that was the most reliable one. So I'm not too fussed about the deal.

Still, I won't be buying early next year if this is how they treat the people who actually shelled out. Although if Metallica, LP and NIN can't sell a festival out, I don't see it continuing anyway.

Surely we don't have to wait until the tickets are dispatched??

I ordered mine yesterday as it's my birthday monday, would be nice to have it soon. Any info??

I don't think they made it very clear when ordering the game where it was coming from, and when we should expect it.

I really don't wanna receive it in two months when I won't particularly want the game anymore and it won't even be worth the extra £20 because you'll be able to pick it up in Asda for like £15 :(
