Drum & Bass at Glastonbury

Basically, its in the thread title. I know Andy C and Subfocus have played before. But i can't find too much mention of many smaller acts. Or indeed other acts playing at Glasto.

I really enjoy it going late into the night after a nice relaxing day of softer music. So i was just wondering if anyone could shed any light on it for me.

Videos would be much appreciated. Cheers

fair enough. that sounds pretty good. shame they can't get a few bigger acts on. they're really not expensive to book and i bet logistics/commix or that kind of thing would go down really well. as long as the track selection panda's to the crowd a bit. like andy C did.

i'm not a big pendulum fan at all tho.

cheers anyway

i think they're pretty much nailed on. but none of that is proper drum and bass really. chase and status, prodigy, qemists, pendulum all pretty much fall into that same category. the radio friendly stuff.

not that i have a problem with that. its just i was more looking for some good producers tho. i guess i'll just have to hang around the glade a bit.

if you're not averse to the slightly funkier side of d&b then i'd recommend a band called dr meaker who are down as 'tbc'.. discovered them in the glade last year and they rock, they had a 3 piece brass section!!! nice sunny drum and bass music.

As for the more bangin' d&b im sure itl be well covered, just about every style of music is! im hoping to catch lots of juicy dubstep myself this year!

i'm more into the heavy driving dj's to be honest. i will probably go and check out a few of these funkier bands. they are great! but its not really what i was looking for.

i'm thinking growly bass. wobbles and surprises at about 180 bpm. saturday night music.

sorry if that sounds stupidly specific. i'm just being annoying now.

they should have an ape stage,

Ape have thrown some sick D&B/Dubstep parties in manchester.

Put it all through the valve soundsystem to drown out the rest of the stages lol
