Strewth ... non lineup-related or tent-related threads are going down faster than your favourite intern does in the Whitehouse at the mo B) ... allegedly, of course :D Just managed to find this one barely managing to cling on to a space on page 7 or thereabouts !

Right then, the plan at the mo is still to collect badge(s) and make your donation at the WaterAid stand immediately to the left of the Pyramid Stage as you stand facing it. I expect to be on-site with a box of goodies reasonably before the World Cup K/O but it's kinda more down to the performance of trains various, shuttle buses, any longy snakey queuey like things there might be at PGA or perhaps even some random act-of-god occurring somewhere along the way and so on rather than me not getting @rse into gear. Pear Cider, Burrowhill or indeed anything produced by a certain Mr.Woodford and friends may also be implicated if lateness on parade occurs even after technically arriving in plenty of time for the K/O :D After that, I'm guessing any time Friday morning onwards as I wouldn't expect there to be anyone at the WaterAid stand on the Thursday. For peeps NOT attending Glasto this year wanting badges, PM me and we can sort something out.

Anyways it's getting closer and closer to LAST ORDERS time and I'm a tad concerned that there still seems to be rather more votes than individual names on the list ... which suggests that some peeps voted when the thread first appeared but haven't been back since to get their name added to Mr.List that came along a bit later on. I hope that's down to a change of mind rather than not knowing about the list :D because not being on the list and just turning up on the day to ask for one is quite likely going to lead to disappointment and all that.

Same thing goes for Glasto World Cup badges if you've shown an interest in those as well of course. Please check that your name is on the list /index.php?showtopic=120708">HERE or there may not be enough available and you risk missing out.

Well ... let's just say that it's a real good job that you didn't want more than 2 because you hopped on just as the doors were closing !! In fact they were so near fully closed I sure hope you didn't get your bits and pieces trapped as you squeezed through and all that :D Cutting it d@mn fine is the understatement of the day.

List updated: The final list for Monorail Badges is at the end of the 1st post in this thread. Hopefully everyone has checked their details by now and all is correct but shout if not ... although it's going to be more than a bit difficult to sort out any major probs now as badges have been ordered.

THE MONORAIL BADGE LIST HAS NOW LEFT THE STATION

If you're not already on-board then it rather looks like you've missed the boat train unfortunately. Sorry :D It may be possible to get more made in time but only if there are sufficient overall numbers to make up a sensible sized order. You can add any further requests for Monorail badges to this thread but I'm sorry to have to say that you may not get them. I'll do my very best to sort something but no promises and all that as the deadline for ordering was the end of May.

There are still a small number of Glasto World Cup badges available so get your name added to the list /index.php?showtopic=120708">HERE if you want one. If you've already shown an interest in the World Cup badges then please make sure that your name is on the list and the quantity you want is shown correctly before all the badges that have been ordered are spoken for.

All of this year's Monorail and Glasto World Cup Badges are now allocated.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a very important statement/announcement posted on this thread sometime hopefully before the end of next week regarding the availability of these badges at Glasto.

OK chaps, there's been a bit of a technical hitch at Badge Control unfortunately :) but fear not, your Monorail badges are safe and well :) although the arrangements for getting your grubby mitts on them have had to change slightly from what I was expecting to happen.

Thanks to /index.php?showuser=1373">5co77ie a box of *very* excited Monorail Badges will hopefully now be arriving at their very first Glasto on the Wednesday and like you, they just can't wait to get there ! To make sure that they don't escape and go wandering off on their own rather than waiting for you to take them on a tour of the site, I will be packing them up and putting your name on the package containing your badge(s) so that every badge finds the right efester to enjoy Glasto with.

Now, I realise that /index.php?showuser=1373">5co77ie isn't going to be quite so easy to find as the WaterAid stand and unlike the WaterAid stand he'll no doubt not be in exactly the same place all weekend either ! but he will be reasonably easy to find at certain times and places, especially so if there is even a remote possibility of cider being close to hand at such times and place :P

Firstly, he will be delighted to introduce you to your Monorail Badges at the Glasto World Cup match on the Wednesday afternoon. You might perhaps have to chase him around the pitch a bit or something if you don't get there early as I think he's playing for Eng-er-Land or the Rest of the World, one or the other anyway :)

The next opportunity to find him will be the efests meet at the Cider Bus on the Wednesday evening after the World Cup match. I sure hope those well naughty Monorail Badges don't manage to sneak in too many ciders before you get to them mind you. Nothing worse than having a load of totally wasted badges and all that is there <ahttp://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_biggrin.png' alt=':D'> so getting there early and grabbing the cider before your Monorail Badges do is defo going to be a good move I reckon ! It's always very busy at the Cider Bus of course but look out for plenty of efests tee shirts, efests flag(s), other Monorail Badges having a good tiime and maybe even the Monorail flag as well if it's going to be there this year and /index.php?showuser=1373">5co77ie will not be far away.

I think there's another efests meet on the Thursday evening also at the Cider Bus although I'm not sure of the times but you'll most likely find him there as well. It's usually early evening until very late going by previous years. Hopefully /index.php?showuser=1373">5co77ie or someone else can post the time for the Thursday meet if they know it.

Those are probably going to be the only opportunities to collect your badges I'm afraid and I'm really sorry that it's not going to be quite so easy as I was expecting it to be :) But at least you'll get to meet the very nice /index.php?showuser=1373">5co77ie and lots of other jolly nice efesters as well plus there's cider involved which is always going to be a good thing of course ! If you don't 'do' cider then there is a WBC bar very close for all your beverage needs if some inferior alternative is required :D

The World Cup Match will be taking place somewhere in the Pyramid Stage field between around 3pm and 5pm on the Wednesday so that shouldn't be too difficult to find. Just look out for a big pointy stage-like thing which can be seen from almost anywhere on the site and head for it. Then when you get there look out for a round football-like thing with lots of 'silly' peeps chasing it around for some strange and unexplained reason. Yeah, I know, I don't understand quite why they do it either but at least they will provide a convenient landmark on the day even if beverages various are involved along the way !

The Cider Bus, as the name would suggest, is a particularly handsome and very blue double-decker bus filled to the brim with loads of lovely apple-based beverages and it looks something like this:

cider%20bus.jpg

It's located in the market area not too far from the Pyramid Stage so it isn't very difficult to find either. If you leave the Pyramid stage field into the market area making sure that you follow the left-hand track heading towards "The Meeting Point", "Acoustic Stage", "Kids Field" and "Williams Green" etc. then it will be on your left-hand side alongside the big Burrow Hill Cider marquee containing shedloads more apple-based loveliness. It's also rather conveniently marked with a nice, cool and refreshing pint of cider on the map below:

If anyone is unfortunately not going to be able to collect their badges because they're not arriving before Thursday evening or whatever, then we'll need to sort something else out. Please post something here if that applies to you and once I know how many peeps have a problem, I'll find some other way to make sure that your badges get to you and have a good time at their first Glasto.

Finally, please don't forget to visit the WaterAid stand at some convenient point in time over the weekend and give them your donation if you're not going to be at the World Cup match. I hope you like the badges and thank you so much for helping Mr.WaterAid in providing clean safe water and basic sanitation to those peeps around the world who don't currently have such basic necessities of life available to them. Access to clean and safe water is a human right not a luxury item only available to those who can afford it.

I'm not arriving till the Thursday morning, so will pick it up at the Cider Bus on the Thursday. Not sure about the time, 4pm was mentioned I think, but not 100% sure.

What about our small donation, will we pay 5co77ie, or pop it into the WaterAid stand?

All donations are to be given directly to WaterAid, preferably via the collection buckets at the Glasto World Cup match if at all possible but otherwise at any other time over the weekend by visiting the WaterAid stand.

For a variety of reasons it's quite important that donations are not collected by anyone "on behalf of WaterAid" unless they have been duly authorised and approved by WaterAid to be doing it.

Are there any spares, at all?

I'd like a couple if possible.

All of the badges I have or am expecting to turn up hopefully soon(ish) are spoken for I'm afraid. Sorry and all that :D However, if you manage to find Ms.Clockworkpurple at the efests meet before anyone else does and especially if you have an suitable amount of Pear Cider to hand for use as an appropriate bribe conversation starter then you might just be lucky as she has a couple of spares.
