mikeydude
Last year my mate was carrying one of these cookers in his hand (in it's carry case) when he got to the gate. He had his gas confiscated. He was allowed to keep the cooker but decided to dump it as it was cheap and he couldn't be bothered carrying it any more. Found out later that the gas was available at the several camping shops on site so he could have got more gas for it. The cookers could be bought on site too Don't know the reason they took his gas. He didn't press the matter as he thought he'd lose the argument if "them's were the rules". He just wanted to get in there and set up camp. Perhaps there's another thread that can enlighten you to the reason why.
